When I was 8 years old I wanted nothing more than to be a gymnast. Having been born with knock knees, pigeon toes and a twisted left femur bone, it was just not in the cards for me. Even though I tried and tried, at 10 years old I failed level 1 gymnastics. I was devastated and I will never forget how sad I felt that my legs would not do what I needed them to. It was my first real lesson in learning to accept and embrace my body for exactly how it was. That day through tear filled eyes I rode my bike from gymnastics to the library. I was instantly drawn to a black and white book with bright orange 70s bubble font titled YOGA. And so began my journey of learning to heal and balance my body with breath and movement.

By the time I was in my early 20’s I was teaching and intuitively guiding people towards learning to create more space for light in their bodies. In my experience creating space for light, means clearing out emotional energy that can store itself in your body. Like I mentioned in my blog post I believe emotions start with thoughts, so improving the quality of your thoughts or at least learning which ones to pay attention to is key.

Mediation, mantra, breath work, kundalini yoga and sound therapy are my favourite modalities and I incorporate them into every one on one session, workshop or class that I teach. I am so passionate about our ability to self heal especially during these times when it is so easy to reach for a medication, instead of reaching within.

I have always felt that we are all capable of extraordinary things and igniting potential is what inspires me most. I have used the power of ancient yoga, breath, mantra and meditation techniques for over 20 years, to help myself and others overcome physical and energetic obstacles in their body mind and life. 

I have created this site to host concepts that hold the highest vibration possible. I hope you enjoy the three minute remedy series  I post new videos every Sunday at 11pm and a new blog post every Friday.
